My Actual Supplement Stack (And the Embarrassingly Real Reasons Behind Every Single One)

This post contains affiliate links. If you purchase through my links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend products I personally use and genuinely trust β€” everything in this post is something I take myself every single day.

Let me be upfront about something. I am not going to give you a beautifully curated list of supplements with stock photos of green smoothies and a perfectly organized pill organizer. What I am going to give you is the actual, slightly embarrassing truth about what I take every single day, why I take it, and what was going on in my real life that made me realize I needed it. Because that's more useful. And honestly, it's just more me.

Everything in my stack is from 1st Phorm, a brand I trust enough to take myself before I'd ever recommend it to a client. That's my standard. If I wouldn't put it in my own body, it doesn't make it into a conversation with someone I'm coaching.

Here's what's in my daily routine and why.

MicroFactor β€” Because Hyperfixation Eating Is Real

My current hyperfixation meal is homemade gluten free, onion free spaghetti with homemade gluten free sourdough garlic bread. That's it. That's what I want to eat. Every day. Without apology 😊

If you're neurospicy, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about, that one meal that feels safe and satisfying and right in a way that nothing else does for weeks or months at a time. The problem is that homemade gluten free spaghetti, as much as I love it, is not covering all of my nutritional bases. MicroFactor is a daily nutrient pack that fills in everything my beloved pasta is definitely not providing. No shame in that. Just gap management.

Full Mega β€” Because I'm Allergic to Fish

Omega-3s are one of the most important nutrients for brain health, inflammation regulation, and heart health. The most bioavailable sources are fatty fish like salmon and sardines. I am allergic to fish. Which means I was quietly walking around with a significant nutritional gap for longer than I'd like to admit with zero idea it was affecting my brain function, my mood, and my inflammation levels.

Full Mega gives me the omega-3s my body needs without requiring me to eat anything that would send me to urgent care. Simple fix. Significant difference.

Liposomal D3 β€” Because I Am, in Fact, a Mutant

I'm a redhead. And not just aesthetically, I have a genetic variation that affects how my body processes sunlight and converts it to usable vitamin D.

I explained this to my doctor once by saying "I think I might be a mutant." She did not disagree 🀣 The practical reality is that just going outside isn't enough for me. My body doesn't process sunlight the way most people's bodies do, which means without supplementation I run consistently low on D3 and low D3 affects immune function, mood, bone health, and hormone balance in ways that are genuinely significant.

Liposomal D3 is more bioavailable than standard D3 supplements, which matters when your body is already less efficient at processing this nutrient to begin with.

B-Complex + Harmony β€” Because "Just Reduce Your Stress" Is Not Actionable Advice

My moods fluctuate. A lot. Not in a "I had a rough morning" way. In a "my nervous system needs actual nutritional support to stay regulated" way.

B vitamins are essential for energy production, nervous system function, and mood regulation. They're one of the first things that gets depleted when you're running on chronic stress. Which, for a lot of neurospicy moms, is most of the time.

Harmony supports hormonal balance specifically because mood fluctuations aren't always just about stress. Sometimes they're about hormones that need a foundation of nutritional support to stay stable.

Together these two are the difference between a nervous system that's white-knuckling its way through the day and one that has something to actually work with.

CLAs β€” Because It Was Never a Willpower Problem

For years I hit a wall of dessert cravings every single night without fail. I thought it was a discipline problem. I thought if I just had more willpower, more self-control, more commitment to my goals, I could push through it. I was wrong, so very very wrong!

CLAs β€” conjugated linoleic acids β€” support metabolism and body composition in a way that, for me, genuinely quieted that nightly craving cycle. Not eliminated, not suppressed through sheer force of will, just quietly turned the volume down to something manageable. It felt almost embarrassingly simple after years of blaming myself for something that had a nutritional component all along.

Core-21 β€” Because Trauma Lives in the Nervous System

My cortisol runs hot. Chronically. This isn't a "I've been stressed at work lately" situation. Trauma keeps the nervous system's threat response activated long after the threat is gone which means my brain is often still scanning for danger at 11pm when I'm trying to sleep. Cortisol doesn't have an off switch when your nervous system learned a long time ago that it needed to stay alert.

Core-21 supports cortisol regulation and sleep quality in a way that actually moves the needle for me. It's not a fix for trauma that's what therapy and nervous system work are for. But it gives my body some physiological support while that deeper work happens.

Magnesium β€” Because My Body Holds Stress Like It's Storing It for Winter

Migraines. Muscle tension. A nervous system that runs at a full sprint around the clock. Magnesium is one of the most important minerals for muscle relaxation, sleep quality, and nervous system regulation. Most people, especially those under chronic stress, are running low on it without knowing it. It's unglamorous. It's not exciting. It works every single time.

I will never stop taking it.

A Note Before You Run Out and Buy All of This

Please don't take this as a shopping list.

What works for my specific body, my specific gaps, and my specific nervous system may be completely different from what your body needs. I'm a redhead with a fish allergy and a hyperfixation pasta situation 😎 your starting point is going to look different from mine.

What I do want you to take away from this is that supplements work best when they're filling real, identified gaps not when they're added to a routine just because they sounded good or showed up in someone's Instagram reel.

If you want to figure out what your actual gaps are and what support makes sense for your brain, your body, and your season of life β€” that's exactly what I do inside my coaching programs.

The Find Your Rhythm Call is the best place to start. It's a 55-minute, one-on-one conversation where we look at where you are, what's getting in the way, and what support could actually look like for you.

You can book yours right here. 🐾
